French Riviera Beach Vacations

Had an overnight stay and thought it was decent. There was one really frustrating issue though, the air conditioners they use in the rooms are very old and VERY loud. Maybe close to 50 decibels. If I didn’t pack earplugs I would not have been able to sleep. Apart from that, everything was great.

Very friendly and efficient check in process (by French standards)...good value for the price.

We forgot our swimsuit. They kept them until we came back.

On this visit I was placed in a room with French doors that opened onto a balcony with cocktail table and a scenic view. Just as before the room, staff, a/c, and WiFi were all ideal. Hotel Univers is a hidden gem just outside of Old Town.

Everything was first class. As a wheelchair user they went above and beyond. The breakfast WOW, everything perfect, thank you. I’ll definitely come back.

Breakfast seating had a beautiful view of beach. The staff in the bar and pool area was very professional and very nice.

Daily breakfast was wonderful. For the amount that we paid, service was subpar. In Italy, for this caliber of hotel, the staff all knew our names and greeted us daily by name. Here, they were often unable to get our breakfast order correct.. the all you can eat buffet saved it though, excellently prepared food with lots of fruits and fruit drinks. Gym was mediocre, but with the proximity to the promenade it was ok, since we were able to run 5-10k daily outside anyway. All in all, the hotel would be better priced at 300-600$/night max! Not worth over 1k/night, decently not worth the 2k+/night price we paid!

Amazing hotel with great location! Very walkable to sightseeing, beach, and restaurants.

Exceptional hotel and customer service. Situated in a prime position, close to everything, including the beautiful esplanade. The room was very comfortable, warm and well appointed

This is a great base to stay when visiting Monaco, but it’s also uses a conference Hotel so can be very busy at times. One of the great aspects of the Hotel is that it’s the only one with its Private beach in Monaco. The staff have always been very courteous to us and the rooms at the back can be noisy due to building work put on the hole it is a wonderful hotel and the front rooms have wonderful views of the sea.P
