Air condion not working properly , no cooling at all. No Remote for TV

It is always a pleasure to stay on this lovely oasis. The rooms are clean and large. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious, and the teak furniture adds an exotic touch. The breakfast spread is fabulous, with Sri Lankan, Indian and western offerings. The Sri Lankan offerings are particularly yummy! This was my fifth stay, and I’ll be sure to return.

5 star view of the ocean, 3.5 star room, 2 star service from the staff. Stayed for 4 nights, first day was ruined due to being given a sub standard room. After complaining to the supervisor, we were given a nicer room with a beautiful view of the pool/ocean - but the room felt more like 3.5 star - nothing special, No mini bar and room was outdated. Paid nearly $200/night, not worth the price. Breakfast was the same for all 4 days of our stay. Also, felt that people of color are treated differently and raised this with the supervisor. The arrogant male staff in particular at front desk, restaurant and pool area need to be trained properly. This was raised with the supervisor.. Note that an additional 10% service charge, 18% VAT is added to food/beverage/spa.

The hotel was really convenient when landing in Colombo. You can walk to the beach and restaurants are close by. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and it was great! Breakfast was really tasty with lots of food! We opted for both the Sri Lankan and English so we could try both options! The spa facilities were also great!

Breakfast was great with many choices. Hotel is in the good location with private beach however the hotel looks run down and require major renovation. Air condition in my room was poor and room was very warm.

Lovely room and beautiful view. Only stayed one night so didn’t use any other facilities. But all looked very nice. Only annoying thing was people trying to sell stuff on the beach wouldn’t leave me alone for a long time
