As soon as we came out of the elevator it stunk like cigarette smoke on the entire floor and in our bedroom. The smell was so strong in the carpets and curtains, it was pretty gross. The shuttle to Universal was really convenient, and the food in the courtyard was good. The movies playing at the pool was a really fun idea although it was too cold at night.

Wow, I stayed at the property for a conference but I can’t wait to go back for personal travel. Absolutely beautiful and so luxurious.

The property is beautiful, the rooms are clean, the grounds are gorgeous!

Restaurant staff and food very good. Front desk very good. Housekeeping did a poor job, cleaned room once and did not provide hand towels or wash clothes. Common areas are good with the exception of the gym which was totally inadequate. Lobby, bar, pool areas very nice. Rooms need an upgrade a little worn. Bed was very nice

This is a really special space. Stayed for four nights in March. The gym is incredible and I was happy to be able to book a lane for swimming on two different days in the 8am hour. Enjoyed the novelty of being in such a historic building, and the roof is very cool. Downtown LA is not the nicest, but is very convenient. Everyone who works there is nice and helpful.
