Roost is a great value very large apartment style living in downtown. Couple small downsides, the bed is very low to the floor (but comfortable), HVAC is loud could be a problem for a light sleeper but I like background noise. Also because it is not a traditional hotel there is no restaurant or freshly made coffee in the morning so prepare for that accordingly.

Maintenance 24-7, even over a holiday weekend was obnoxious! Give your guests a break, at least at night.

While the room was clean and comfortable, the hallways were not. We were happy there was a bar/restaurant but the food and service were mediocre. To be fair, the serving staff was not adequate in number but the servers working were hustling and as attentive as possible. Kudos to the young woman at the front desk…extremely nice and helpful. Small but functional gym is available.

Hotel is super convenient to Rocket Arena. We were able to walk the two blocks to the arena through an underground tunnel, avoiding getting wet.
