Plaza Hotel is in a great location on the Esplanade, but a bit removed from the busiest areas so it is quieter at night. The room was excellent except the bathroom could use an upgrade to lighting (only a couple of overhead lights so hard to see clearly in the mirror and shower). The staff were friendly and helpful. Our ocean view suite had a great view of the water.

My 3rd time there was as great as the first couple of times. Love the relaxing vibe and the fun inclusions.

A very clean spacious room. All staff friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with reasonably priced evening meals available. The only negative was the street noise coming from the youth of Cairns on Friday and Saturday nights through until 4:00 am. If staying on these nights see if you can get a room not facing Abbott St.

Manager Greg was very helpful, helped us check in quickly... Carpark was a definite plus safe and secure. very spacious and great facilities...

Great unit. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Pools, tennis courts and a Thai restaurant. I wish I was staying longer.
