I’m a truck driver and they have a lot of parking food is good many good choices to eat I come to the Rio when I visit Vegas

This apartment was perfect for what we needed. It is central to many parts so you could walk if you wanted. We did rent a car so it was great that free parking for 2 spots was available. It was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. I'd likely come and stay again when I am back in the area

Staff was a bit rude while doing the check in, room was very poorly lit

The Palazzo was a lovely stay and Jesus at the front desk went above and beyond to make my birthday weekend in Vegas special. He greeted us with a warm smile and was efficient in checking us in. My room view was upgraded and we were provided with complimentary glasses of wine to celebrate! We also received two tickets to view Leona Lewis’ show and it was spectacular! We did encounter a water outage one morning however that is not specific to this hotel. My friend that had stayed at the MGM a couple months ago had also experienced a water outage at their hotel. The front desk gave us a $100 dining credit and allowed us to use the water bottles in the room free of charge. We had water running back within 3 hours. There are many restaurants within the hotel and the Venetian that are great to stop by and enjoy. Shopping was excellent with the Grand Canal Shops, the Wynn shopping, and the Fashion Show Las Vegas mall. There is a mini convenience store right by the elevators if you need some medicine or some water. A quick walk through the hotel will also lead you to a Walgreens should you require anything else. I appreciated seeing lots of security at the hotel to ensure those that were not guests were not wandering where hotel guests were staying. Although I understand that it is Vegas and that it is a Casino, I would have preferred more defined non smoking areas as we were getting choked out in the elevator. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I would return again.

Arriving, I struggled to get my luggage up the steep stairs & was surprised that the guy at the top, who was standing there watching me, didn't offer to help. He opened the door & that was the extent of it. I was told my room would be ready in less than an hour so when an hour came & went I checked in again at the front desk and the young man immediately said it wasn't ready yet. I then decided to sit in the lobby instead of out by the pool, and within a minute, the room magically became ready. Overall the rooms are nice and huge and Laura was great at resolving an issue with an employee looking into my window. It would have been nice to have someone mention the ipad turned off all the lights, I fumbled around way too long looking for switches that didn't exisit. I was surprised at how many kids were playing in the pool morning noon & night considering it felt like a more adult/boutique vibe hotel. I didn't feel like I could swim and relax. The breakfast cost is very high, and the eggs in my omelet were overcooked. It came with a side of bacon, but instead, the chef put it in my omelet, and it was chewy. The sweet paprika overwhelmed the side of potatoes so overall I ate about 3 bites and left the rest. $68 later after a $12 cup of coffee & tip I came away vowing never to eat there again. Upon departure, I again wrestled my luggage downstairs by the pool as an employee who had a vacuum in the walkway didn't offer to help. Overall, I'd say the service was poor for the price.
