Greta hotel, excellent service!

We had a fantastic stay at this JWM (except one incident). Great Location - Lots of Restaurants, Bars, Shopping and Transit (and Ocean) all in 10-12 minutes of walk from here. Staff was very friendly, Room was clean (unlike some of the other complaints). We requested a high floor, and they gladly helped and gave us a room on the 19th floor. On Christmas day the hotel organized Champagne and Chocolates in the Lobby, which was a real nice gesture. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Brickell. The only dis-appointment was from guests in the next room. Those people decided to party loudly in the room instead of going to a bar or restaurant (cheapos!) and were so loud that we could hear conversations and laughter in our room. This went on from around 10:00 PM to past Midnight. We repeatedly complained to the front desk and they sent someone to talk to the other guests, but not long after they left, it all started again. Thankfully we did not have an early flight next morning or else we would be in trouble. Cannot blame the hotel for this .

We had doctor appointments early at UCLA and decided to spend the night at W. The folks were very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit tired. We had a room that was updated to a junior suite. The snacks and wet bar was good. The bathroom products can not be better. Davines from Italy. The bed was comfy too. The real problem is the air quality... The HVAC system is very tired. There are two zones. I used clorex wipes to clean the intake and outtake vents. I had to use several sheets. And they still need a lot of work. The windows have wooden shutters. They are very dusty too... Overall the W worked out for our trip. But I'm not sure we can stay there. With my wife's asthma and my allergies was quite a challenge... This was hard to write because the staff was so nice🙏🙏🙏 All the best Burton
