Restaurant/ bar/spa Staff made the trip, friendly professional and knew what it meant to make a memorable stay. Rooms VERY tired. First room smelt of body odour. Second room bathroom literally falling apart. Cracked sink, everything leaked. Heating so unbelievably hot but unable to turn it off even after reporting to staff. Slept with windows wide open all evening. Lovely location, quiet and peaceful.

The hotel felt very welcoming and especially Christmassy at this time of year! All if the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast buffet was extravagant with plenty of options although I felt £69 was very steep for one adult and a child (who hardly ate anything)! I would have expected this to included in the room price as this was already over £400 per night with additional tax of £21 per night on the chevk out. These 'hidden extras' would make me a bit reluctant to book again. The evening meal was very expensive as I had libster spaghetti but there were only 3 tiny pieces of lobster in a big bowl of pasta for £49.

The hotel has a great gym and a very good spot, but the rooms can be a little shabby chic. Of course the location is very hard to beat.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Clean room, daily housekeeping, easy to walk, and friendly staff. Thank you.

Room was a little dated but staff were incredible. As a coeliac I was really reassured by their knowledge and understanding
