Small Islands of Venice Waterpark Vacations

The staff were very helpful in holding our luggage until check-in time. They also gave great advice on site seeing - great for us first timers. So much to do so close by - wonderful experience!

We were upgraded on our arrival which was lovely, the suite was spotless and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was fantastic although our first morning we weren't told where the buffet section was and was seated so we couldn't see it. We did work it out for ourselves though. The second morning the waitress explained the breakfast system. The staff were all very helpful and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely environment

Overall our stay was fine. The staff were friendly enough and the hotel itself was sufficient for our stay. Pros - Really yummy breakfast was included every day, the location was close to sites, restaurants, and the waterbus/vaporetto dock, and there is a garden terrace space within the hotel. Cons - The room was clean enough but not well maintained from years of use (and this was obvious with broken decor, missing bathrooms tiles, styrofoam attached to the wall) and the walls are PAPER thin and could hear everything (between neighboring rooms, hallways with staff cleaning or prepping breakfast, and even people making noise or walking outside).

Gorgeous hotel. The reviews are (thankfully) right - there's a huge amount of attention to detail here, and the staff are lovely and friendly. The rooftop bar has to have one of the best views of Venice, and was a particular hightlight, though our room was wonderful too - we were upgraded to a junior suite (joint big birthday!) with 4 large picture windows looking out over the lagoon, and its own walk in wardrobe. They also have a lovley garden - if you can, definitely ask at reception for a taxi service to the staion or airport - they'll pick you up from their little dock and it's the best way to leave the city.
