Great hotel, very friendly staff and they allowed us to check in a bit earlier as our room was ready. Clean room, spacious and comfortable bed. Would highly recommend :)

L’hôtel est très beau, notre chambre grande mais ça sentait beaucoup la cigarette même si c’est un hôtel non fumeur. On a demandé de changer de chambre mais elles n’étaient pas du même standard que celle qu’on avait. L’odeur était très désagréable. Le service en général était bien mais certaines personnes à la réception ne sont pas sympathiques c’est un relais et château alors ça devrait être parfait ou presque.

Beautiful and spacious

Loved this hotel in the picturesque village of Saas-Fee! Loved the bath robes, breakfast, and clean, airy space. I greatly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Unfortunately, I had intended to book a hotel in Zermatt and didn't know that lots of hotels in Switzerland are called Schweizerhof--that's my fault not theirs, but just be aware. It's quite far from Zermatt but the village itself is worth exploring.

We decided to end a hiking holiday with a bit of luxury and booked a family suite with lake views for 2 nights. The room did not disappoint: it was spacious, immaculately clean with amazing views over the lake. What spoiled our stay was a wedding disco party that blasted loud music until 4am(!!!), not what you expect from a high end resort in such a peaceful setting! We were astonished that the hotel which wasn't exclusively occupied by the wedding party would allow so much noise to carry on for that long but the worst part was that the management didn’t feel their other guests had the right to be notified in advance. When you choose to stay at a luxury hotel, sleep should be the very least you can expect, sadly we got none that night, which completely defeated the purpose of ending our holiday with a bit of a treat. We were offered free parking and a later check out time but we found both inadequate compensations for ruining the last day of our holiday. Noise aside, the housekeeping was impeccable but the service at the bar wasn’t great (they forgot our orders twice) so we went elsewhere for breakfast and didn’t try their restaurants either for fear of further disappointment.
