The room was fine and the bed was great. However, my main reason for booking this hotel was for the airport shuttle. Upon checking in, I was informed that the shuttle was not running on the day I needed it. The staff member apologized but offered no other solution besides paying for my own taxi. The taxi fare was $42 US for a 15 minute ride to the airport. I was really relying on the advertised free shuttle.

Good location. Rooms on the non castle side hear garbage trucks early in the morning. Other than that I would be happy to stay there again.

Room smelled strongly of a strange chemical floral smell. Had to keep the window open to try and air it out. No food available nearby. There is a mall within a short walk that offers a Greg’s and a McDonald’s. The hotel is not 4 stars. It is a bit rundown. The staff are nice and try to be helpful.

Great location right at the west end of queen street. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with plenty of space and fully appliances in the kitchen area.
Next time would probably prefer not to be in the basement at the front of the building with some noise from the main road and people walking by on the street above.
