Austrian Alps Waterpark Vacations

I originally had another hotel in mind, but the price kept climbing. I checked repeatedly, hoping it would come back down, but eventually I booked Hotel Motto with some hesitation. I had been imagining a more traditional luxury experience—something with a spa where I could really feel pampered. What a wonderful surprise! The room was absolutely adorable, and the décor was incredibly chic. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and the personal touches made the experience feel special. Honestly, it felt like I had stepped into a movie and was the main character. I hadn't traveled to Europe in decades, so I put a lot of pressure on this trip and wanted everything to be perfect (even though I know that's impossible). Hotel Motto exceeded my expectations. Location was convenient, lively and fun. I loved my stay, have absolutely no regrets, and would happily return. I'll definitely be back! Je ne regrette rien . Thank you!

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Wien for five nights while attending a conference in Vienna. The hotel’s main strengths are its excellent location and cleanliness. It is very well situated for both business and sightseeing, and the property is generally well maintained. My room was fine, although I had specifically booked a king bed and was assigned a twin room instead. The beds were also not particularly comfortable. They felt small and somewhat old-fashioned, with spring mattresses that reminded me of older hotels rather than what I would expect from a modern five-star property. The breakfast was decent, with a reasonable variety of options, but the quality and flavor were average. It was perfectly acceptable, but not at the level I would associate with a top-tier luxury hotel. The biggest issue by far was the air conditioning. During my stay, Vienna experienced unusually warm weather for May, and the AC was not working properly for the first few days. Sleeping was genuinely uncomfortable, and I was told that the issue affected much of the hotel. Towards the end of my stay, the system seemed to improve somewhat, but it still felt like it was operating at half capacity and never cooled the room adequately. If the air conditioning had worked properly, this would have been a perfectly acceptable hotel for a business trip. As it stands, I would describe it as a clean, well-located place to sleep, rather than a hotel to enjoy for its facilities or overall guest experience.

A lovely hotel, boutique design in an older building. Rooms are well designed, quiet and immaculately clean. Staff are wonderful.

We saw outstanding reviews on this property. I was skeptical as reviews are now unreliable and manipulated. But took a chance. Stayed 5 nights. Now our experience was just as others described. Clean, well managed facility with outstanding staff. Servers and front desk personnel are the best part Always welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is outstanding with breakfast (included in our case) excellent quality. So, we recommend this facility with no hesitation. It’s also central and walking distance to most of the popular attractions. The city transit system was easy to manage and excellent. Have fun there.

Hotel itself very nice, good breakfast. Friendly staff helped a bit with parking issues first day and ice the first two mornings (but not the last). Neighborhood interesting - some sketchy businesses (exotic dance halls & casinos), but numerous hotels & families walking around. A substantial walk or short ride to major Munich sites.

Location is near the main railway station. Lots of younger men hanging around at night on the streets, don’t think I would book if I were a group of woman or single woman staying to be honest. Hotel was very good but bathroom was very compact. Room was cleaned daily which was great and it was not noisy considering there are two youth hostels nearby. I would book again.

The beds are hard and pillows too soft. The rooms aren't as clean - lots of dust and dust bunnies. Overall the property is quiet. Rooms are a bit small and cramped.

Location was great for me. Walking distance through a short cut by the river banks to the nearest tram station or a 10min downhill walk from Rosenheimer Station. I truly enjoyed my morning walks at Maximiliansanlagen park. Lots of eating and grocery store access nearby. The hotel room was clean, comfortable bed and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only comment I can share is the weird layout of the room. Entrance to the room is a bit tight with the cupboards on one side and the bar on the other side. One has to wheel in one luggage at at time through the narrow passage. The toilet by the entrance is small and have no sink for washing hands after toilet activities. The bathroom is huge and opens to the bed with a separate bath tub and shower. This will be useful for some but for not me. There is a big honking heavy luggage bench at the middle of the room which is not very helpful and quite an eyesore. I sure enjoyed the gym, pool and the sauna. Very clean and not so busy after the kids curfew at 8pm Overall a great experience and will recommend and stay again when back in Munich.

The hotel lobby have a food kitchen smell and think it needs to be revisited. The room is great and location is great. Breakfast is very bad and poor selection I would not recommend it.
