Some aspects of the experience were disappointing. Several staff members were not helpful, a few interactions were rude, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. The toilet paper holder was also broken.

Our family of four had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui. The resort is beautiful, and the kids really enjoyed seeing the penguins and flamingos right in the lobby. The pool area was a definite highlight for us, with the waterfalls and grotto providing plenty of entertainment for the children.
The location is perfect for families, as being right on the Ka’anapali beach walk makes it easy to get to the water or walk over to Whalers Village. The grounds are very well-maintained and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our trip. It’s a lively, high-quality resort that served as a wonderful home base for our Maui vacation, and we’d certainly recommend it to others.

This property is amazing and you should definitely experience it! Only downside is that every single thing is paid. They have made it so that you can’t experience ever unless you book 3 days in any case so your research and be prepared to pay extra fees for all experiences
