Staff was friendly. Wish room was a big larger and had a mini-fridge (to put things in not just hotel selling drinks) / coffee maker. I think those two things would have made a difference.

Highly recommended. Arlette and Jesse at reception were wonderful, and the room itself is spacious. Also, love how close the hotel is to Bryant Park. Will be back again.

We have chosen the Shelborne Sonesta for 15+ years, back when it was the Affinia and the Rare bar was a popular hangout! We did not make it to the rooftop this year, but the reopening and expansion was very nice the last time we visited. Some of the rooms are a little dated, but the location in midtown/Murray Hill and the welcoming staff, makes this an easy choice for return trips. See you next year!
