Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We easily walked to the Old Town, Princes Street and beyond. The breakfast was lackluster and the furnishings in our room were showing their age, but the staff and location are what would bring us back.

The hotel is spotless. Staff is beyond friendly and most helpful. Everyone! We came back to find our luggage had been delivered to our room when it was ready and when we opened the door, they even had music playing with little cookies on the bed. It was a lovely stay and the dinner and breakfast were both superb.

The hotel is on Victoria St., the best location in Edinburgh. Clean room and good amenities. We enjoyed dinner at “Commons Club”. The library next to the reception was nice touch.
