「What a gorgeous little hotel. Staff were very good, felt like very professional service. Lovely comfortable bedroom, excellent food at dinner service and very reasonable. Breakfast was continental , left in the grudge in your room, and was delicious 」
「Lovely hotel and great freshly cooked breakfast , some of the decor is slightly tired and our room was in the sun and got quite hot , but windows open to cool it down a little , the gardens are very relaxing and there are plenty of places to sit and relax around the property 」
「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」
「There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs.」
