Lazarus Island Ski Vacations

Really enjoyed our stay! Prime location, good amenities (the laundry access was very appreciated as we were travelling light), good amount of space when you factor in access to the Oasis Lounge. The cafés within the same building are also just lovely.

The rooms were clean, the staff was professional, and the location was excellent. The only downside was that the breakfast was somewhat lacking.

The property location is great but do NOT book a room in the new wing as the photos were very deceiving. This is the first hotel I've stayed in without any windows (why were there curtains to cover a wall?) and the room was so small my carry on was basically a foot away from the bed. The worst part was the toilet was 2 inches from the wall so you couldn't even sit down (I'm only 5'1) and you couldn't open the bathroom and the shower doors at the same time because of the poor layout. Most of the staff was pleasant but when I kindly asked one of them not to say my room number out loud (for safety reasons), she responded "your room is in the next building" and left me to figure out the rest upon check in.

An excellent hotel with superb staff. Standout employees were the two doormen, Saeed who showed us to our room, Robert (one of the managers) and Germaine the cocktail mixologist. Our rooms were excellent and we loved the pools and the gym. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very good quality. The hotel ambiance is something else, it’s really lovely. The hotel is a refurbished Fort Canning Hotel and has only been open since October ‘25. The only improvements needed are around the breakfast service which is disorganised and very slow. Both mornings we had to wait half an hour for coffees, which is unacceptable anywhere, let alone a 5* hotel. Also when food and juices ran out they weren’t replenished. In all honesty that was a minor niggle in what was a delightful stay. We really enjoyed our time at The Mett, thank you!

Perfect hotel in great location for shorter term stay. Very comfortable.

Construction work was ongoing in the building next door from 9 am to 6 pm. it was very loud. At the time of booking, we should have been told. The location was great. The pool was clean and a safe location. The front desk did give us a very late check out that helped us out a lot. We would go back again if the construction is finished.
