UNREAL how amazing this resort and staff was. Booked the day of arrival and they were extremely accommodating/ staff was helpful and polite. Went above and beyond for us. Everything was perfect i wish we stayed longer. Will be back and will only stay here!

TRIP RUINED BY BUILDING WORKS
I spent a fortune on one of the best rooms and the room was truly stunning but the pool experience was terrible. They had full construction going on at the Tower and the noise ruined my trip. I tried sitting with ear plugs in but all I heard was drilling and dust everywhere.
The hotel itself is ridiculously stunning and I will always love this hotel but there are a few pointers.
Aggressive breakfast staff. Unfriendly and pushy. In out mentality with no kindness or Aloha spirit. Felt like New York.
My maid was horrible. She was definitely looking for tips and would fake this ‘what room are you in?’ chat but when we were struggling to pack and leave our room she became unfriendly and grumpy.
Also an older Hawaiian pool attendant shouted at me like a child to move my pool lounger. Very very rude!!! This man genuinely shouldn’t be working here as he lets your hotel down.
So beautiful hotel, BAD STAFF! And no disclosure on building works.

We had 3 adults staying there. It was advertised for 3 adults, however, the futon foldout was only big enough for a kid. We took pictures of our adult kids and their heads went over the futon. However. After complaining, the owners dropped off a double/queen blow up mattress, about the 3 day into the stay, meanwhile one of the kids had to move into our room.
So, bad news, the room was not set up for 3 adults, but good news after days of complaining, the bed was corrected.
