Overall the hotel was ok. The room was very warm even with the fan on so sleeping was difficult. Being on the first floor I could open the doors but I did not want to leave the. Open while sleeping or while it was raining. It rained my entire stay. Location was ok even being outside city centre. Having a rental car would be difficult to park if you are not familiar with the area.

This outstanding property is stretched over acres of beautiful countryside at the bottom of the Etna volcano. It is part of the Relais Châteaux collection, so you can expect 5 star service and amenities. Rooms and suites are spread across the property, in the middle of vineyards, lemon trees etc. The views are breathtaking, the staff is extremely helpful, nice and professional. A small downside is the under equipped gym which deserves an upgrade. I truly recommend this property weather as a starting point to the wonders I this region, or just for a calm and relaxing day in the Sicily countryside.

The property is great. Located near Mt Etna and wine country. The rooms are very nice and the restaurant is exceptional including all of the restaurant staff. If I had one observation to improve it would be the attentiveness of the front desk staff. They are not always available and do not always respond ti email.

A lovely continental breakfast with a choice of scrambled eggs and bacon too. A great range of breakfast food too. The kitchen staff are lovely and we had a fantastic dinner in their Michelin guide restaurant. Their selection of wines complements every dish. Our double standard room was a good size, with a modern bathroom. We stayed on the fourth floor with the roof windows as the only source of light. There were several bars nearby and it was a bit noisy at night, so ask for a room on the side. We arrived around 10pm as a group so checking us all into 3 rooms took a while, which wasn't ideal as we were all quite tired after a long journey. But I guess the receptionist did their best. There
