No English spoken there. Toilets don't work. Entire hotel is filthy and carpets no vacuumed even while I was there. Only western food was hard boiled eggs.
Only halt roll of toilet paper in room at any time.
Then to top it off the tried to charge 1000 yuan or 50% more for the stay than the Expedia itinerary price on the booking.
It's a 100% Dump all round.

Superb stay. Our family stayed in Xiamen C & D Hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is outstanding in every way: very clean, reasonable rate, delicious breakfast buffet, with an enormous and beautiful tropical garden, with a 1-mile walking/jogging trail, tropical trees, flowers, and plants, lotus flower pond, a few cute animals (ostrich, black & white swans, and blue peacocks!). Love the garden style luxurious setting, friendly staff. To my family, Xiamen C & D Hotel is our favorite and the best 5 star hotel in Xiamen. Will definitely stay there again.
