Oslo - Southern Norway Scuba Diving Vacations

The breakfast on the weekend would not start until 7.30 am which is later than weekdays of 6.30. I think it should have been at most 7 am. At 7.30 there was a line of 30-40 people maybe more to get in the breakfast room.

The 60’s wall paper and decor was interesting for Norway but in a very cramped double or queen bed room. For what we paid I need to note the square feet of room in the future.

Very clean room and easy check in. Getting into the building and the room was hassle free which was such a relief after a long day of travel. The room was as described and had enough room to sleep our group of 4 (2 in the bedroom, 2 on the sofa bed) but was a bit cramped. It was hard to have the sofa bed out and use the table at the same time, for example, and it was a bit annoying to keep having to fold and unfold the sofa bed throughout the stay, but it was and easy task in the end and we made it work no problem. Also, both beds were comfortable and we all slept well on them. We never saw any staff present and check was completed virtual, but it was made clear how to get contact with them if help was needed. It was a bit warm in the room most of the time leading us to have to leave the window open a lot, and there was no clear cooling system present in the room (we are unsure if it was there and we couldn’t find it or if there just isn’t one). There were some minor things we thought were missing from the room that we felt should’ve been included based on the price we paid, but they were very minor. Overall it was a good experience and a great location for access to central Oslo. Would recommend!

This was a great find. Great value for money and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area. Bathroom was a nice size and also spotlessly clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Check in was pretty simple and the staff member we met, who was cleaning at the time, was super friendly. There is a bakery next door which was convenient, we just had coffee and pastries, a supermarket across the road and plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend this place, we would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean and modern. The location was very good, roughly a 20 minute walk from the centre and train station. The staff were very friendly.

Wonderful guest experience at Lily Country Club. The staff members were professional and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and both the evening meal and breakfast the following morning were superb. The hotel sets a high standard for itself as a conference center, and it met my expectations in every regard. I look forward to staying at LCC again in the future.

Liked the location.... That was the best part of the stay.... Pretty much downhill after that Have to mention that there was a nation wide strike that definitely had an impact on the service we received. Check in was not well coordinated despite the fact that the people were "marginally" pleasant(Antonio)....but emphasis on the marginally....Could be because the strike caused the staff to be probably overwhelmed and overworked.... Had a good dinner at the hotel restaurant and the gentleman that was behaving as waiter, bartender, seating host and maitre...was very good!! The most disappointing part of our stay was the condition of the room....It was not good at alland certainly not what was depicted on line... The carpet was filthy!!! the room was dated and needed a significant make over... Expected more for the money we paid.... The best thing about this place was the location and ...when fully staffed I think the restaurant is very good....DJP
