Easily the best hotel during our trip across Austria. I wish we could have stayed longer. The location to shopping and public transportation was perfect. We stayed during a heat wave (over 100F) and the hotel was cool the whole time, climate control in the room was great. The rooms are so nice both in comfort and style. The best bed we had during our trip. Entrance to the U-Bahn is right around the corner. So many shops and restaurants up and down Mariahilferstrasse. If you need to avoid the heat like we did you can pop down to the underground and go anywhere in Vienna to visit the sights. Sauna and Steam room available for guests, both were great. Highly recommended for couples travelling.

Staying at the Kaiserhof felt like stepping back in time. The service was truly personal - the staff knew our daughter by the end of our stay and would greet her every morning, ask her about her previous day’s activities, bring her a special hot drink at breakfast without us even asking, give her chocolates, etc., and the breakfast was superb, with fresh bread and cakes and so many options on rotation. You can tell that the staff take great pride in their work and seem very happy with their jobs. The cleaning staff would arrange our daughter’s stuffed animals into charming little poses just to delight her when she came back to the room. Our family just came back from a multi-city trip to Europe, and we talked about how the Kaiserhof was not only our favorite hotel from this trip, but perhaps our favorite hotel ever. It really was that special. Every little touch came from an era of service that seems no longer to exist in most places. This place has integrity and true, quiet excellence.

The staff were amazing, very helpful and courteous. The property itself is centrally located and beautifully decorated.
