The start was excellent, friendly and helpful. The location was great (close to the palace and public transportation). We visited in Spring, the weather was cold outside but the temperature in the rooms was set too high, we could not seem to get it lowered in the room.

Easy check in polite staff clean room fantastic breakfast really enjoyed my stay. Only one thing needs addressing asked about taxi service to airport when checking out staff quoted 44euros fixed rate for hotel guests so booked it when arrived at airport driver insisted on 54euros and got in my option aggressive and loud insisting payment in cash was disappointing end to my stay;

I really like short distance to local tube and buses! Check in with Emanuel was easy , happy chat and useful info about area and city. Room decor is perfect and room size. I was surprised how good the breakfast was. Bar tender is a happy guy and polite , served good pint ! Hotel spot on and worth reconsidering!

The hotel was very nice and 5 min walk to the train station that takes u to the city center in less than 10 mins

The Almanac was a fantastic choice of hotel. The staff were magnificent from check-in to checkout and they went over and above to ensure our stay was as near to perfect as possible. , The breakfast was wonderful and we also dined in the restaurant one evening and the good and service was first class. The room was spotlessly clean and front desk was very helpful. I would absolutely recommend.

We had an excellent stay. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are very comfortable, quiet and clean, and the breakfast was varied, locally sourced and delicious. Very conveniently located for the metro and Praterstern station. I would definitely stay again if I visit Vienna in future.

Excellent location in Vienna Ring 1 to walkable distance to many attractions. Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. I got upgraded room which is spacious and clean. Definitely recommend.
