Hotel is good love the location. The breakfast buffet is somewhat awful and I would certainly skip especially for the price they charge. Lots of food options around right out the door. Beds were not very comfortable and pillows were rocks. Other than that great location would probably try one of the other hotels next time but it wasn’t bad and would stay again for sure. They won’t let you check in early either 3pm and it’s a big line as everyone is just waiting…

I made another solo leisure trip to Osaka and wanted to stay at a new hotel that was a good balance of value and convenience. Overall, I had a good experience during my stay at this hotel. The location was in Honmachi, which was a nice change of the more chaotic areas near Umeda and Namba, while also being very accessible to either areas by metro. The room was comfortable and spacious for the price point. Lastly, the staff was professional and helpful when I interacted with them. I did not have the hotel breakfast or visit the bar, since I ate at my favorite places in the area and only came back to sleep. However, it was a very enjoyable stay and a good hotel for solo leisure travel.

What a great stay at the Gate. The location is excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great and breakfast and view in the morning second to none. Would highly recommend.

Great staff, good facilities and fantastic restaurants. The only minor defect is that the TV in my room was a little dated since I didn’t support any streaming apps or blue tooth connection.

During our stay there was demolition of a building next door. However, great location.

I enjoyed my stay here, super unique with amenities unlike anywhere I’d really stayed including free basic food and open pour bar, free personal amenities and even rental of electronics all included as part of your stay. The rooms had a unique look and feel and while they were outstandingly flashy or slick I think that they certainly did the job, were clean and fit for purpose. I’d definitely stay here again.
