Shangri La Fiji never fails to impress. On behalf of my family , we would like to thank the whole team ( from room maide Timaleti who always left a special towel art for the kids, to Mali and all the boys running the pool/ water activities , the restaurant staff , all restaurants were very good and the lady at the bar of course for all the cocktails) a big thank you for making our holiday extra special. And at last Napoleon featured in the photo always welcomed us with open arms and a big smile and lovely music from his guitar! 5 star experience. We have been here 5 times, the kids always want to come back.

Smugglers Cove is ok if you just want a bed to sleep in. The “resort” is old and worn. Bedrooms are ok, bathroom isn’t clean and expect a cockroach or two. On our first night there was extremely loud Bollywood music playing from the establishment next door, the windows are paper thin and no earplugs could dampen the noise. If you book activities that depart from Denarau Port, generally the company will pick you up for free from the Wailoaloa area which is good. I wouldn’t stay here again, wouldn’t recommend.
