Room very small, no chairs inside, ants everywhere, including the breakfast area. Quadruple room has a double bed and a single bed, apparently this was the biggest room in the hotel. We book for 4 people ( 2 adults and 2 children 12 and 16 and they had to squeeze in a single bed.

Clean room, convenient location. has AC and lift. Breakfast was ok. Would stay again

We had a wonderful stay at La Scaletta in Florence! The hotel was extremely clean, and the staff was always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, with so many great shops, restaurants, and beautiful sights within easy walking distance. One of the things we loved most was the combination of history and modern comfort. Staying in such a beautiful historic building, surrounded by gorgeous frescoes and architectural details, made the experience feel very special, while the rooms still had a fresh, modern vibe. The terrace bar was another highlight and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Florence. Beautiful hotel, excellent location, and great service. We would definitely recommend La Scaletta and would happily stay here again!

We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and specious and the AC was amazing for how hot it was! The property is very well maintained, the pool is lovely and we very much enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner a few nights. While we loved the quiet location, it is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Florence, so cabs back and forth can get expensive. Regardless, it was an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend!

Great breakfast, very friendly staff.

Great location- easy walk to major sites and train station, and in a beautiful piazza. The housekeeping was probably the best I've ever had. The room was spotless and they have turndown service. Their breakfast was not what I would have expected from such a beautiful hotel. Eggs were runny, not a large enough selection of foods, and cappuccinos were either served warm or no taste. I must say that the breakfast room is very elegant so that helped. Much better breakfasts at other hotels in the area though. That said, I would not hesitate to stay here again! I had my morning cappuccino elsewhere and thoroughly enjoyed a very clean room, helpful staff, and a stunning room!
