We stayed in the luxury twin suite with the bathtub view of the ferris wheel. For the price, I had expect a litte more. This place needs a revamp. The finishing are showing age and the carpets need replaced. My biggest problem was after the second day, a man walked in my room after it had been cleaned, no knock, nothing announcing his enter, while I was in a state of undress. I choose to engage the privacy button for the next 5 night stay so no one entered my room. Staff: we were not advised at check in what amenities were available, no explanation of the pool, gym, or anything. Just gave us our key and that was it. This was a special anniversary stay of 7 nights. I was disappointed and would not stay here again.

This was one of the best stays we've ever had. The service was outstanding, and both the breakfast and dinner offerings were excellent. Rumi and her colleague — whose name I unfortunately can't recall — were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, patient, and great listeners, even though we could only communicate in English and didn't speak the local language. They made us feel completely at home. The rooms were immaculate — our beds were always made up perfectly, and everything was kept to the highest standard. It was truly an exceptional experience in Japan. In fact, we were so spoiled by this hotel that every other stay felt like a step down as we travelled from Tokyo to other cities.
