The best part of our stay at the Berkeley Hotel was the incredible staff. They were warm, helpful, and consistently went above and beyond—whether it was making a last-minute dinner reservation for us or literally running after us in the street when we took a wrong turn. Their kindness truly made our experience feel personal and cared for.
The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, though ours did have two hand soaps but no shampoo—not sure if that’s typical or just a one-off. Breakfast was included and very good, with plenty of options to start the day.
While we may choose a hotel closer to the water on a future visit, the Berkeley was perfect for our goal of being in the heart of the city. Dubrovnik is beautiful, and this was a great base for exploring it.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Lapad so much. It is a beautiful property with comfortable and modern rooms. The pool is a delight on a very hot day (most days are hot).
I really enjoyed the location and appreciated being away from the crowds of the historic centre. Plus, I arrived by ferry which is just on the other side of the harbour from the hotel, so it was super convenient. Also, the nearby restaurants are excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
