The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was absolute paradise. This was the first vacation stay that I wasn't ready to come home from. Will 100% recommend.

This place was amazing! The staff are next level (Milo, Jose, Mario, Luis and Leo) knew our names and likes and dislikes within hours. The food and drinks were also amazing. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

Good place to stay and overall service was good. Food review: Buffet. it seems they have reduced food options at the buffet. A few years ago, the food was different every single day which was awesome. Now recently, the exact same food options for the whole week I was there which got pretty old fast. Brazilian steakhouse was really good change. The previous restaurant that was there was not good a few years ago so this was a nice change. Sushi spot was great. Pool review: The jacuzzi did not have any hot water running so was pretty upsetting. Room review: Nice and clean rooms, ac working good. The downside is they didn’t have the fridges stocked up with drinks. Seemed I always had to keep asking for them to stock up. Bring back water bottles or improvise water filtration machines because the water taste was very bad. Main lobby bar: Consider having the bar open later until 2 am like all other bars at riu hotels and have a good dj come play so good music. There’s not much of a party scene at this resort even though it has potential . Overall good place to stay and would recommend anyone try this place if you’re looking for a calmer resort with not much of a party scene. This is a good family friendly resort.

This was the best resort I've ever stayed at for so many reasons. Forget your worries, disconnect, and enjoy everything palmaia has to offer. If you value quality good rather than quantity, healthy food over heavy, whole foods over processed, this place is for you! The rooms are all ocean view and the whole resort is walkable. I had such memorable classes here and the personal concierge services was a nice touch and way for us to feel connected all through the week. Already planning my next visit!! The resort was great, room was fantastic. Caution about the $200 resort credit.The Expedia listing is deceiving. There are limitations such as $10 off a full price wine bottle, $40 off regular priced spa service. Great buffet at the Market Cafe. Nice sit down places near the pool with ocean views (Seaside Grill and Oceana). Fine dining choices in the evening include Himitsu (Japanese), Bordeaux (French)(long wait at times), Portofino (Italian) and El Patio (Mexican). All of the restaurants were fantastic & no resy needed. (Hibachi at Himitsu needs a resy due to limited seating). There are plenty of events during the day that are free. We decided to just hang out at the pool most of the time. The concierges are at every building, and communicate through WhatsApp if you need anything. The staff does go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. The reason I did not rate it 5 is because I did not sleep well at night due 2 the bed & pillows. It was just not comfortable for me. I still prefer the beds and pillows at a JW Marriott. The resort grounds are immaculate! Pools are sparkling clean. Beaches are pristine, smooth white sand that feels like flour on your feet. They have exercise classes, free paddle boarding & kayaking outings and bike ride through the local town. If U take the Wyndham "timeshare" pres, it's about 2hours for $200 credit towards your hotel bill. The survey lady was rude. Just keep saying No until they give you all the bells/whistles.

The view from the rooms are the best view of the oceans. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, but need more English specking staff. The lunch on the adult side was your best dining experience. You need More dining locations on the adult side for dinner and warmer for the cold food such as the waffles. Need More variety for adult entertainment.
