Spreewald Mountain Vacations

As always, we book a room in Berlin as a base to sleep and rest at times. The room was large, clean and the beds very firm and comfortable. The facilities were more than sufficient. We noted there was no plug in the bath and this was rectified within minutes of reporting. The cleaners are active daily, including over the weekend, and will service the room if access is allowed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay on, or near the Ku'damm as it has plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance, and it is a 10 minute walk to the main Zoo station and bus depot. Buses are always frequently passing within 2 minutes of the front reception.

Great place

There is no AC, no sufficient lighting, no kettle, no tea cups in the room. I think there should be in a 4 star hotel. I do not know what kind of detergent is used in the bathroom, but it triggered my allergies and I had to leave a day early. The lobby area is too small, and I did not like the Sri Lancan concept in the restaurant. The rooms are clean. The furniture and the bathroom material are good quality. The staff is friendly, but I did not sufficiently enjoy my stay for the reasons mentioned earlier.

The location is superb, minutes from the railway station with direct trains to the airport. You are right in the heart of berlin with just short walks to most of the main sites that you want to see. The managed suites are large and comfortable with everything you could possible need for a break. They even include a yoga mat, should you be inclined. Along with the additional benefit of a small kitchenette should you have the wish to do any cooking. Restaurant Facil serves excellent food and for a two Michelin star restaurant the prices are very reasonable.

Everything excited expectations! Staff was wonderful, food was amazing, everything was seamless! You ask for something or need something, everyone was willing to help. 5 out of 5 stars! Definitely will be staying here again on my next trip and would recommend anyone to stay here!

The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes’ walk from the U‑Bahn station, which made getting around very easy. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, so it was easy to set yourself up for the day. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, but I rated the stay three stars because the breakfast staff were noticeably less welcoming. One lady in particular frequently raised her voice at guests who were in her way and seemed constantly irritated, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. We stayed in a queen room with a balcony, which we appreciated because the rooms were very hot and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work. The downside was the noise from the trains every few minutes, though we eventually got used to it — and with the windows closed, you don’t hear them. The room itself was spacious with a large walk‑in shower. The biggest disappointment was the bed. The mattress was extremely hard, and neither of us managed a restful night’s sleep; we both woke up stiff each morning. Overall: great location, good breakfast options, and a large room. If you like very firm mattresses, this hotel might suit you — but unless the mattress situation changes, we wouldn’t stay again, which is a pity.

A great hotel. Wonderful location and excellent value. The staff were all friendly and helpful. When I return to Berlin this will be my go-to hotel. Highly recommended.

Second time here, live the hotel and location. It’s not super central but beautiful and very accessible. I will be back!
