It was ok but, it feels like the hotel markets itself as if it’s better than it is. Kind of soulless reception and long corridors. Uncomfortable beds.
We had asked for an accessible room which we didn’t get and the room was about as far away as it could be.
Restaurant and breakfast was ok.

We travelled to Dublin for our friend’s wedding and stayed at St. Helen’s Hotel for two nights. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and we were lucky enough to receive a room upgrade with an amazing view.
The hotel itself was beautiful, but the outdoor garden wedding venue was absolutely stunning. It made such a beautiful setting for a wedding, and we would definitely recommend St. Helen’s for both a stay and as a wedding venue. We had a wonderful experience.

Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was great. Getting any ice seems to always be a problem in Europe. Only problem we had was that we were under the impression the cost of parking was included in room price and we just needed to get tickets validated. But we had to pay an additional $20 for parking. ??

Air conditioning did not go higher than 18 so room was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was a good option and the room size worked well for our larger family. The area is not the most safe to travel around with kids at night. Was at least close to a Do Dublin hop on and hop off bus so would recommend taking that across the river to do most activities.

"Had to move rooms twice due to first one was right by a service door and a balony and people were in and out using it for smoking. second room was on a corridor that smelt really bad like cannabis. food has drastically gone down from last time i stayed back in december."
