Reichenau Island Mountain Vacations

It’s a very large hotel with A Huge amount of rooms. Only 1 in house restaurant. Minimal lobby space. No lounge bar or coffee shop. I’ve never been in a Radisson or any other airport hotel with such minimal limited public space. On arrival. One of our rooms had no electricity. We needed help to sort out a fuse issue at midnight. The room was spacious. Bed comfy, Plenty of towels and amenities. It’s very much a ‘room based’ hotel. No space in the lobby for meeting friends and having a coffee. Lobby space needed constant attention. With so many people in such a small space. Litter was everywhere. Restaurant was busy with a fun vibe. We were advised to eat to breakfast early as food runs out and new food not replenished.

Nice hotel, travel into Zurich via light rail no 51 very easy.

Overall poor experience. I hadn’t been informed that there would be an extra charge for a 3rd person even though I had booked the room for 3, 1 adult and 2 children (14 & 12 years old at the time of booking and checkin). I am perplexed that the extra charge for a 3rd person wasn’t matched by extra services; we still had only 2 bath robes until we requested for more, we only had 2 slippers until we asked for 1 more pair and we were given 1 bottle of mouth wash during the whole stay. The food eCHO was a cold lamb shank which had to be returned to the kitchen and the chicken burger at the Lenox bar was served without avocado and eggs. The chicken burger was also returned to the kitchen. The whole experience has been atrociously poor. Won’t recommend

Everything was great and a good memory was recorded for us.
