Very old style and outdated hotel. While the lobby looks fine and the outside areas are nice, the hotel rooms don’t seem to have been refurbished at all. Our rooms in the East wing first floor had terrible views of equipment and parking lodge. The bed are very high and the bathrooms and aircon all perhaps from the time the hotel was first built. Overall clean with lots of activity and space for working and having coffee, hotel coffee shop, etc. in the large open areas of the lobby.

Amazing room, location, staff, and restaurant. Mek at the bar for happy hour and dinner was terrific. Aaron served a delicious (free!) breakfast each morning at Le Sel. Everything about my stay was perfect. The hotel is centrally located, yet in a quiet area (that is also easy to get ride shares to/from). I’ll be back!

This was the ideal location for exploring the museums, the Capitol, and the monuments. Close to Penn Quarter’s great restaurants. A block Lafayette Square and the White House. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed outdoor dining in addition to a brasserie.

Everything and Everyone was great! The restaurant served delicious meals! Close to the Metro and within walking distance to universities, retail and shops!

Not only is it luxurious and friendly, but you'll find at least 5 taxis by it at any time (a definite plus when certain Metro lines are being repaired). Added bonus: the signature house fragrance is unspeakably delicious. You will love your stay here!

Great location to explore the area.

Our fridge wasn't working. I texted the friendly front desk and it was replaced with a working one within five minutes. The happy hour was fun and free coffee always makes me happy. The building had so much character. Would definitely recommend. So easy to get around the city from this fabulous hub.

Top notch property on the Wharf. Clean, modern, helpful staff, great location. No brainer.
