Hi! We enjoyed our stay at Glover Park! The room was surprisingly spacious with a beautiful view of the Washington Monument, the Capital, etc. Comfortable bed, clean, nice woman at the front desk. There's a restaurant with an outdoor covered patio, but we didn't try it. However, it seemed to be very popular as it was busy whenever we walked by. Easy eight-minute Uber to the Washington Harbour in Georgetown.

I would say the property exudes regal elegance. Our room was nice and clean. I absolutely loved the garden. I loved the breakfast/lunch restaurant, but wished they also served dinner. The other restaurant was not adequate for dinner.

Pros: nice & unique room; clean; firm beds; good shower Cons: the extra fee that is mandatory even if you do not use the exercise facilities, spa, etc. Room light to let maid service know that you do NOT want room to be serviced never worked. I mentioned the problem three different time to three different front desk people plus replied via text but room was serviced every night of my 4 night stay. This means hotel front desk staff demonstrated incompetence and communication failure within staff. For a nice & expensive hotel, this kind of incompetence is unacceptable. Hotel dining options: cafe & tapas restaurant were overpriced and poor value. Conclusion: nice hotel; clean, modern, well maintained, good convenient in city location; nice but incompetent staff; mandatory unnecessary fee; look elsewhere for comparable lodging options.
