Good room, very clean, and well located if you want to explore Shinjuku on foot.
The main downside is that the hotel doesn’t have a comfortable lobby or many common areas where you can relax and spend time outside your room. On a rainy day, for example, I ended up having to stay in my room because there wasn’t really anywhere else to comfortably hang out.
The rooftop bar and restaurant were also disappointing in this regard. They don’t allow guests to sit there unless they are consuming something, and we were asked to leave when we weren’t ordering.
Overall, a good hotel for the room and location, but the lack of comfortable common areas is something to keep in mind.
