Zealand Kid friendly Vacations

We arrived to Copenhagen at 6:30am, the staff helped us store our luggage. We were able to check in a bit early because of availability, which was so lovely after our long trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable. We enjoyed refreshing in the sauna. The breakfast buffet was very good. It is a short walk to the central station and Tivoli Gardens, and many attractions. Bus stations to other areas are close by. Felt very safe and comfortable.

Central, quiet, excellent service and great atmosphere.

We upgraded to suite harbor view room. It’s so beautiful view. However, it was so hot. There are A/C but I was not cool enough during the day. Opening windows is helpful to cool down the room.

Easy walk to the train station, restaurants, the danish royal theater, the canals, boat rides etc. Attended a conference near Tivoli Gardens and it was an easy walk to and from.

Very expensive! Lots of taxes and service charges I wasn’t expecting.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location in the center heart of the city, a walk away from everything you need to do and see. One problem is the NO A/C. It is not customary to have AC in hotel rooms in Scandinavia but, we were just at the beginning of the Hot Season and a portable fan given to us by the hotel did the job. Try to avoid Scandinavia and especially Europe in July & August as AC is not as common as in the US.

Good hotel very well located in the heart of Copenhagen. Makes the visit very easy, a few block away from Stroget, and the metro right in front of the hotel. Can easily walk and bike anywhere. Good modern room, well sound proofed, very good soap products in the room. The breakfast is great and started us off very well every day. The only downside we can say is that the hotel doesn't really have true air conditioning like we are used to (only ventilation, like in most places in Copenhagen), although we were comfortable in the room after the mechanics corrected a problem with our system after the second night. Second issue for us was that the blackout drapes leave quite a bit of light in, and given the days are very long at this time of the year, the room was alight early in the morning. Nevertheless, we recommend!

15-20 minute walk to the airport

Check in was slow. There were only 2 staff. It took us almost 25 minutes to check in. It was nearly midnight so there was not a very long line, but.... Breakfast was ok but it could have been better had the staff been more friendly and accommodating. As a guest, I felt like I was bothering them when I asked for a scrambled egg whites. No smiles. And the room was very warm and uncomfortable. We had to open the windows despite having a fan (yes, we had to ask for a fan..Felt like we were in developing country). While we were on the 13th floor, the loud noise of the traffic below (honking of horns, ambulance, etc) made it difficult to get a good night sleep. The beds were LUMPY. OVERALL, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
