General cleaning and staff were great. Food was limited. The app they require you to use for reservations doesnt work. According to some staff a lot got moved to the GR solaris from royal solaris. Seems like they dont really care about a lot of the functions at royal solaris anymore.

Guys don’t do it! There are far better hotels out there. Maybe we came at a bad time. But their buffet was down for remodeling, the servings of food they served were super tiny and they would get mad if you wanted like 3 or 4 more plates. The kids pool was very dirty with algae and debris. The food selection was not the best. As a family that likes to eat fresh on the beach, they didn’t have many varieties of fruits and vegetables. I don’t normally leave poor reviews I think on a personal level, we had fun because it’s all an individual perspective, we wake up and are thankful and it’s great. But having stayed at other hotels, this one I would not recommend. Their staff was not on the same page about things, one would tell us we can get late check out and when the day was coming up and we want to ask apparently they didn’t want to honor it. The entertainment staff never played volleyball after I asked every day for a week. Overall would recommend you check other options ! Trust me ! And the beach was really rough! High waves which I didn’t mind but rough for small kids. But there were some great people nonetheless! Jose from the pool was amazing, Manuel from the dining was excellent. Yameli from dining was outstanding. I expected more for the money I paid. Disappointed and won’t be coming back

Location: The resort sits away from the busy Hotel Zone, which gives it a calm, private feel while keeping Cancun within easy reach. The beach is beautiful, with turquoise water and soft white sand, and the views of Isla Mujeres are breathtaking. Atmosphere: Relaxed, welcoming, and elegant without being stuffy. Whether you're lounging by the pool, enjoying a sunset dinner, or strolling the grounds, everything feels peaceful and effortless. Rooms: Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The balcony views were stunning, the bed was wonderful after long beach days, and the layout gave us plenty of room to spread out and truly relax. Service: This is where Villa Del Palmar truly shines. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. A special thank-you to Pavel, Victor, Alejandro, Arad, Kevin, and Oitoikos, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel like family. You are a credit to this resort! Amenities: Gorgeous pools, excellent restaurants, a lovely spa, and plenty of activities for whatever mood you're in, whether that's adventure or pure relaxation. We can't recommend Villa Del Palmar Cancun highly enough. Thank you
