Lenauer Forst Kid friendly Vacations

First thing…you get what you pay for. This is definitely a 3 star hotel. The amenities highlighted in the as for the hotel says it has onsite parking. While true they do, but apparently it’s a first come first serve basis. Therefore, we did not get onsite parking. We tried to ask the receptionist where to park. She was not helpful in this area. The graves she gave me were a 15-25 minute walk from the property. The Ming bed is 2 twins put together. Cleanliness and upkeep for the hotel are a 3 star quality. The breakfast was decent. If I were asked if I recommended this hotel, I’d say if you want a mediocre hotel then this is your spot. Other than that no.

I started to notice that my sheets were not being changed toward the end of my trip, and the rooms were not very well ventilated/stuffy

Great location close to buses, trams and the downtown core. Our room was spacious with good amenities. The hotel buffet style breakfast was amazing with such a great selection of items. As it was quite hot in Munich during our stay, the AC was fantastic.

Excellent hotel a service is top notch from the moment you check in, using the spa, room service, dining, housekeeping, etc. everyone is very helpful an attentive to the needs of the guest. Great location.

Check in was pretty smooth. We arrived early and the room was not yet ready, but it was ready earlier than the 3 pm time. The room was clean and well organized. We got the loft suite and the sofa bed was made up for our kids right away. The room was pretty tight for space unfortunately, but it may be expected given the central location of the hotel. The AC was a bit weak and the room was often on the warm side until it was dark outside. We appreciated the two bathrooms a lot. The pool looked quite nice but we didn’t have the time to try it. Overall a pleasant stay. 😊

Room was very nice, although it felt like the living area and/or bedroom could have benefited from a little more storage. Bathroom was really hot but nicely appointed. Breakfast is outstanding as long as you get there early enough to avoid sitting in one of the back rooms. Servers don’t make it back there very often. It’s amazingly quiet in the rooms - even those facing the Main Street. We were there for New Years And barely heard any noise from fireworks.

Loved the room and beautiful balcony! Breakfast was delicious! Close to downtown for restaurants. Beds were super comfortable. Would stay there again!

Property was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Right across from train and bus station. Walking distance to town Would have liked more choices for breakfast or have it included.

A wonderful hotel near the airport with a luxury spa and pool with fine dining. If you need a place to work out and swim in Munich, and cannot afford the Forte Hotel at 800-1000 a night, then this is the place for you. There is a gym to work out. a pool for laps with a built in hydro pool, 3 saunas of different heat, and a relaxation area with comfortable beds. The rooms upstairs are clean and comfortable. The staff here are amazing, and every request is honored with care. I will certainly stay here again when I return to Munich.

This is a very nice hotel a few Kms from the centre of Munich. It has very friendly and helpful staff and is extremely conveniently placed for local restaurants and public transport. We had no need for a car because the public transport system (download the MVGO app) is sooo good, clean, efficient, easy to navigate and reasonably priced.

Very convenient location for travelers to/from Budapest Airport. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
