The property is clean and convenient but the rooms are quite small. The bunk beds are not comfortable so the room is not suitable for 4 people. The front staff is really nice and cooperative. The facilities are quite basic though for the price

I can't begin to say enough good things about this hotel. From pre-trip and helping me arrange airport pickup to my arrival at the airport to my stay, I was treated with the ultimate white-glove service where everyone was kind, incredibly helpful and and so attentive, I never want to stay anywhere else in Tokyo again. The staff are incredibly helpful and speak English; eager to help when you need a taxi and incredibly accommodating, making your experience feel catered and truly tailored to you. With the location not being super close to a train station, it was amazing having a taxi outside ready everyday that could take us to the train or wherever else we needed to go. The hotel itself is a bus stop, as well. The grounds are impeccable and the scent of camellia throughout the property is lovely. The design is grand with history throughout on display and ornate details that make you feel you're truly somewhere special. We dined at one of the restaurants and not only was the same amazing service present, I had the best onion gratin soup I've ever tasted. The cloud mist show is beautiful and runs often. Really amazing property and people! We already booked a return stay in December, we loved it so much!

Great hotel! the rooms were so clean, the staff were very friendly. The location was conveniently close to UENO train station and the train that takes you directly to Narita Airport. Would 100% return to this hotel if I’m ever back in Tokyo.

Great location, lots to do around, the hotel itself is on a fairly quite residential street couple of blocks removed from the busy streets of Asakusa. My family of 4 stayed there for 6 nights. Very clean and nicely furnished studio style apartment/ suite.

Our favourite hotel in Tokyo! A must stay!!! The lounge level is the best!!!!

This hotel is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Japan. The rooms are amazing, the view was wonderful, and the bathrooms are excellent. With a comfortable bed, great pillows, and good AC, everything was perfect. The sauna was really good too, and the staff were super nice and helpful—they even made a map for us to find a place. This hotel is just wonderful. The buffet was amazing as well; all the food was fresh. This is a hotel I will definitely come back to. Special congrats to the staff!

The hotel was easy to find and very close to the train station and convenient stores. The deluxe Japanese room is spacious even for 4-6 adults, clean and modern, same for the furniture fixtures; shower and toilet rooms were just as spacious and clean. Amenities are more than we needed; laundry machine had easy instructions. Front desk staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and so polite. The deck was a bonus, although the train tracks were right across the street, the view is still just as wonderful. Really enjoyed this property and would return again. Highly recommend to stay here.

as a british traveler, it was a challenge to face the language barrier however the staff at slash did a great job at fulfilling any requests. great rooms, great service, amazing breakfast!! if anyone i know plans a japan trip, i will recommend this hotel
