Very comfy! Great breakfast and remote location 20 min from Selfoss.

I stayed at Thingholt hotel 2 years ago and again this past week. The staff is friendly and the spa is great. Unfortunately, the gym is limited and in disrepair. It only consists of damaged stationary bikes, weights, and a few other accessories. Additionally, the rooms could use a bit of updating.

Extremely nice rooms and warm welcomes from the staff. I loved that they had a luggage room to store your luggage in case you arrived too early or checked out too early, but it can fill up pretty fast with all the people coming and going.

A wonderful hotel - would highly recommend. We stayed in King Deluxe Suite and found it spacious and comfortable. Slept very well with comfy beds, nice linens and blackout curtains. Our section of the hotel was a bit warm sometimes but opening the window helped and the front desk offered a fan. Reception was very helpful - we were able to check in 1 hour early and they loaned us an adapter as well. Breakfast was great - a nice variety of options - fruit, skyr/yogurt, eggs, sausage, potatoes, salmon, pastries, variety of bread, toppings, pancakes, oatmeal and cereal, plus juice, coffee/tea. Location is perfect in the middle of Reykjavík and hotel and amenities were in good condition and just as described. Gym sauna and hot tub were nice to have. I would definitely stay again!

Would stay there again. Good location and we had a very nice room facing a park.
