I had a great stay at Orchid Hotel. I came to Mumbai after couple of years but the human values are still same. I recommend to stay here It was great experience for my stay. Thank you to all who were part of it. Regards Rahul

The room was nice, a little out dated but clean. We got a partial sea view which was lovely. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from and had some cook to order food items. The bar had a happy hour. However there was only one beer included in the offer, which was more expensive beer, Carlsburg Elephant. During our stay, there was a film being filmed on the roof terrace, where the pool was. We were not told about this, and our room was right below, so every night (6 nights) you could hear banging, people walking and loud music, sometimes into the early hours. We did not want to move as we had a lovey view. When we went to the pool the whole area had not been cleaned up from the film shoot, there was something in the jacuzzi so could not use that all week, there were no sun loungers so had to get some chairs to put by the pool, and no towels, so had to ask for these to be brought up. Not the service you expect. We were paying customers so expected to be able to use all facilities, and was disappointed that the pool and terrace area was not fully available to its guests. We chose the hotel for the pool and terrace where we could have a meal on, Having a film shoot on the roof spoilt our first experience in India,

The breakfast buffet was terrific. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Let me list a couple of the cons: The hotel is dated. The carpeting needs to be refreshed. I was placed in a wing where there was construction going on in the adjoining rooms. The carpet was dirty, and the hallway smelt dank. In the exercise area, there was a video constantly playing of the CEO shilling for the hotels culinary school. It seem quite annoying, especially when trying to exercise. Finally, the hotel has a number of rather irritating ledges, and drop offs, which can be quite daunting for a customer with physical difficulties. Overall, a decent hotel, but not one that would merit a five star rating, at least in my book.

Ideal location for a visit to Juhu Beach area. Staff were fantastic, so friendly. Hotel inside was spotless. Breakfast had a good variety of food both hot and cold. Nice pool to relax away from the madness of Juhu. Nice big room with a view of the beach. Allan and Dwayne never let our glasses run dry by the pool. Airport transfer service was 1st class. All in all, probably the best hotel in the area.
