I enjoyed the personal touches, ambience the friendliness of staff and the opportunity to select pre breakfast items each morning. The location was quiet and close to shops and short drive to the lake. I would love to visit again soon! Thank you to staff and our wonderful chefs for an excellent weekend.

Was a very nice room and easy to come and go. However the fire alarm got pulled at 3am on my second last night there and not because of a fire. I then couldn't go back to bed and was super tired for my meetings the next day.

An unforgettable stay for my birthday! This is my first time with the Fairmont Gold, I wasn't disappointed. We had a warm welcome, a bottle of champagne delivered to the room, an impeccable service. I'll keep only good memories of this weekend

We loved the deluxe suite and how spacious it was. It’s a gorgeous hotel

No parking is an issue The window air conditioner was loud, blowing directly on the bed and kicked on every 10 minutes to keep up.

5* property and staff! New home in Toronto! Staff is veery friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. A+++

I thought the Fairmont in San Francisco was the best, but our Gold Suite at the Royal York put SF to shame. The suite, the exclusive lounge, the exclusive elevator — it was definitely worth the price. I can’t recall the last time I had a hotel room that made me want to stay inside all day, but this one did. Splurge and do it.

It’s centrally located to lots in the downtown Toronto core. Staff are wonderful. Restaurant on site is great for food and drinks. Would stay again

Love this hotel. Clean and comfortable, very friendly helpful staff. Only complaint was air conditioner wasn’t working and we had to call several times until they finally came to fix it.
