Great staff and great service

Had a fantastic stay at Kimpton La Peer! The hotel is stylish, impeccably clean, and perfectly located in the heart of West Hollywood. The staff was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Beautiful rooms, great atmosphere, and an overall wonderful experience. Would definitely stay here again!

We had two rooms for two night June 8, 2026. One of the rooms had no toilet paper squares in it so we asked the owner for some. He declined and told us to was with the middle sink and use a towel. So this was our last straw. First straw, it's located in a graffiti alley that got sketchy at night. Second, the rooms were so so small. Getting lights to stay on was confusing. Plug in outlets too old it couldn't hold a plug. Last, the owner lied that its a 4 star. We left the next morning after we walked to a store for toilet paper. We lost/walked away from $650 for one more night that we had already paid for. The owner and the toilet paper issue was just unreal. Find another hotel plz. Any other hotel would work! If I could give this place zero stars I would. First, it was very hard to find the location because there is construction outside. When I finally found the place, there was one person at the desk who was extremely rude and condescending. She made fun of the way I spoke (mimicked me). I was in shock. I had already prepaid for the hotel so I didn't know what to do. I figured I would let it go since it's one night. I asked about parking - she said can't give me parking until I checked in. So I checked in and then after I paid for parking - she said she didn't have anymore key cards to the parking garage. She told me that every time I would need to go in or out of the garage I would need to come into the hotel and tell them and they would meet me at the garage (!) I asked politely how does this work if there's only one person at the desk. and where do I park to call you to help me with the garage (since there's no parking - only construction - outside the hotel). That set her off in an angry tirade. I was afraid for my safety at this hotel with this person in charge. I called my friend that I was meeting - she came over a few minutes later and I told her what happened. We checked the room - which had an intense chemical odor - can't breath. She refused to let me talk to a manager and refused to refund. It was such a twilight zone experience. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRID PLACE.

I loved everything about this hotel! The staff was super friendly, the room was so inviting and cozy, and the view was amazing! I’d give it 10 stars! I plan to stay again!

Not the standard for a 1 Hotel property. I came in late and the fire alarm was falsely going off the entire time. No courtesy call and no zero attempt to accommodate the guests. The rooms need some work. Felt dingy and could use some serious touch ups and repairs. Just didn’t feel like the others.

Enough for 1 night before travel

don't go, terrible, no amenities, no staff, air conditioning cannot keep room under 80 degrees in the summer, we booked the best suite and it was terrible cannot imagine other rooms

A coffee maker or complimentary coffee would have been nice.

Bird dropping on steps and door entry way. The pull out bed was broken. Telephone call placed on hold for more than twenty minutes by front desk staff. After twenty minutes the call would disconnect or staff will ask to call back "we are helping customers."
