Great location. Helpful, friendly staff- especially Finn, a standout, especially with our kids. Proximity to public transport was a big bonus. Discounted easy access to Hagenbeck Zoo and the Tropen Aquarium was a bonus!

Very large hotel. Staff friendly, but friendliness of front desk people seemed forced rather than genuine. The hotel seemed very well-staffed (there are plenty of staff around). Beautiful, but small, swimming pool. Even smaller workout room. My room was spacious and very comfortable. A/C worked well and room was quiet and well equipped. A 5-min walk to the Dammtor station, from which one can easily reach the Hauptbahnhof. Short walk to lovely park along the water, too.
