Harbor Island Cheap Vacations

Great room, had 2 bathrooms attached that were just for the room. Great area. Very quick walk from pike place.

Some things were great, like the convenient location and the very responsive staff. And the decor concept is pretty cool. But so many practical things that were so annoying! The lighting above the sink was too dim, while the light in the room where the toilet and shower were was blinding — and motion controlled, so it would light up if you had to use it in the middle of the night it would disturb someone still in bed. And then it would go off and leave you in total darkness if you were on the toilet too long. The main lighting switch by the door was a type I had never seen before and I don’t feel like we ever fully figured it out. It controlled three lights at once. There was no power outlet or light on one side of the bed. There was a jar with a lid above the sink that was empty. I think it was supposed to hold Qtips or cotton balls. The top was incredibly dusty. There was no place to hang towels except on two hooks behind the bathroom door, one of which had a robe hanging on it. The toilet seat was loose and we had to call the front desk to get batteries changed in the smoke detector after it started beeping in the morning while we were still in bed.
