The room was good and clean. The bedding was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, just the way I like it. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had an Absolutely beautiful stay. Very clean hotel great location and the staff was wonderful! We would definitely stay there again. Traveled with my husband and 2 kids.

It was okay. Nothing special. Theres no phone in the room. Needed extra towels because the shower leaked all over the floor. The lights in the shower and over the toilet did not work until we were checking out.

The hotel was beautiful and perfectly situated in an unbeatable location. There were countless restaurants, live music venues, and sightseeing attractions all within easy walking distance. The concierge, valet, doormen, and front desk staff were consistently attentive, welcoming, and professional. The facilities were spotless and modern, creating a comfortable and upscale atmosphere. Our reservation included breakfast, and the full breakfasts served in the hotel restaurant were absolutely delicious.

I booked Hotel Washington through Expedia and overall the experience did not match the price. The parking situation was frustrating from the start. The only option presented was $80 valet parking. I called the front desk ahead of time and was not told about any nearby garages or alternatives, just that parking was $80. More transparency would have been appreciated. When we arrived, our room was not ready and we were told it would be a while. We went to the rooftop restaurant, which has nice views. The manager kindly checked on our room and told us it would be ready shortly, but it still took hours. Communication throughout this process was poor. The rooftop restaurant and bar are extremely overpriced for the quality. This is expected to an extent, but the food was nothing special. The bar staff was friendly and professional, which was a highlight. Room 541 had notable issues. The bathroom layout is awkward, with the toilet essentially inside the bathtub area. Worse, the bathroom door does not fully close or lock, offering no privacy. That is unacceptable at this price point. The lobby ATM did not work, and every time we went to the front desk there was a long line. The valet staff was kind and helpful, but overall the experience felt mid at best. Great location and rooftop, but between the parking cost, room delays, bathroom issues, and overall value, I would not stay here again.

While the room had a few imperfections, like VERY slight staining in the carpet the staff and food and amenities made up for it x10! Food was amazing, and the wait was nothing past 25 minutes staff was super attentive and was delighted to answer any questions we had I LOVED The Salamander!
