We arrived from the cruise ship and were grateful to be able to leave our bags at the desk so they did not have to stay in the car while we were out sight seeing for the day

Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. sharp. 2) Great Location: The hotel is in the heart of Reykjavik, just a 10- 15-minute walk to Rainbow Street and the iconic church. 3) Honest Staff: I once left my jacket and wallet in the dining area, and thankfully, they were saved! 4) Lockers Available: You can store your luggage and carry-on items securely. 5) Family-Oriented Lobby: There’s a nice hangout area that’s great for meetings and socializing. Some Hiccups: 1) No Gym Amenities: The Center Plaza Hotel does not offer gym facilities. 2) Basic Room Quality: The rooms are typical of budget hotels. 3) Busy Hotel: The hotel can get quite crowded. I went down for breakfast at 7 a.m. once, and it was packed! I found that going later helped. 4) Limited Perks for VIP Expedia Travelers: There weren’t many benefits during my stay. I had to remind the front desk about my status, and they provided me with one complimentary drink. 5) Tour Pickup Issues: The hotel does not offer pick-up for tours. The nearest bus stop for pickups is a 5-10 minute walk from City Hall Bus Stop 1. However, if you're traveling with a group or family, there are plenty of taxis available right outside the hotel.
