Like the swimming pools, but the outdoor music too loud to have a conversation

Loved my stay at the Venetian resort! The room was spacious, clean, and the maid staff were happy to provide extra towels or needed essentials during our stay. The resort itself was always clean, and had plenty of dining options (quick and sit-down) to choose from! I felt very secure the entire time due to the fact that they have a 24/7 security guard ensuring you scan your roomcard before accessing the elevators for the room. The only negative experience I had was during check-in - it was 2:30pm and I went to the front desk to check the status of my room (check-in was listed as 3pm). She informed me that there is a "check-in window" that begins at 3pm, but it could be as late as 6pm of when I can check in. Of course, she told me for an additional $100 a night I can get a different room that is ready right this instant, but could not inform me of when my reserved room would be ready. As I had arrived that day at 9am, I was not prepared to wait until 6pm for my room, so I got out of line to discuss this with the other people staying in the room. I got back into the front desk line after discussing this with the group (about 10 minutes) and deciding we were willing to pay. I had a different gentleman at the front desk who when giving him my information said my room was ready and immediately gave me the room keys. He inquired who it was that told me my room wasn't ready and that I needed to upgrade to get a room now (making it seem like the room had been ready).

Excellent property. Houskeeping in our room could have been better. Something was missing every day. (took soap but didn't leave any, tissues left empty, did not replaced dirty glasses...) Not what I expected from a 5 star operation. Loved the suite anway!
