Paphos Adventure Vacations

Check in was at 2pm. We got there early at 1pm and they said we couldn't check in yet so i kind of understand that. 2pm rolls in and they don't have a room for us until 240pm and they "upgraded" us to a sea-view room. TV didn't work and also the safe was unusable. Next day we complained in the morning and after secondary attempts we got a tv working a few hours before bedtime and a new safe. Had to take my valuables everywhere with us. Breakfast was ok. You can't beat the view from the pool area and the beds facing the sea. That's the only thing i enjoyed. Oh another thing you are only given a face towel and a shower towel. No wash clothes for showering. When we asked for one they not only refused they pointed to management.

The hotel staff were great and very accommodating but the hotel needs more maintenance around the pool and other facilities. The gym changing room and pool toilets were poor and a lot of the tiles in both pools were broken. It’s a very minimalist feel but the lighting around the stairs and elevator was very dim at night and we just used our phones flashlight. The area around the hotel is great with lots of walkable beach options and the board walk makes everything stroller friendly.

Good overall, but not the 5-star experience advertised. We stayed for just under a week in the off-season and enjoyed the warm weather, clean private beach, and pool. The location is great, with easy access to sights, a supermarket and bus stop right outside, and free parking for our rental car. Outdoor areas are spacious with beautiful views, and staff were generally kind, though professionalism varied. The manager followed up on our concerns and offered complimentary bubbles and fruit, which was appreciated. The interiors were the biggest disappointment. Our room was large and clean but very outdated, with a basic bathroom and plumbing issues that required repair. Upholstery around the property is old and worn, the spa area felt dingy and smelled unpleasant, and the indoor bar had the same issue. Food was average. Vegetarian options were limited, and some cheeses tasted freezer-burned. Drinks were overpriced, though the dinner buffet offered good value. The resort provides many activities and feels ideal for families, groups, and retirees who return often. For singles or couples looking for a truly luxurious stay, this feels closer to a 3–4-star experience, and a different property may be a better fit.

Another great stay at this hotel. So relaxing, clean, comfortable and welcoming.

We had an absolutely wonderful time, as always, at Elysium Hotel! The room was stunning, the food was beyond delicious, and the birthday cake surprise was incredibly thoughtful and truly made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to come back again!
