Everything was great!

Stayed many times during and post Jumeirah era. I appreciate now is a good time to renovate but absolutely no communication when booking, when booked, via the hotels.com app which continually messaged me about my stay, no communication at all when I arrived and checked in….. almost everywhere is closed (rooftop pool/ rooftop bar/no in room dining menus/ Irish village I was advised not now connected do no discount, then went (all under renovation too it’s like a building site with all’s 4 people there Monday evening) and got the discount. No shower gels in room found out in shower. The only saving grace was the concierge on the mornings who arranged stuff for me (from the Jumeirah days) but certainly won’t be back until renovated as totally underwhelmed with the floors of noise and renovation and Appx 20% occupancy and total lack of communication. They don’t seem to care. And still charged me for an early check in! Poor and so much more choice around.

it was ine of my best stay , excelent lication, very good amnitis, gym…. f I want to say the excelent pount it was a jentelman call Khodarahm , whi was responsible for welcoming and manage entering and leaving of passenegers, very supporrive, ejucated and nice guy whi mad a unique stay and hinestly if I stay again in future in shangri la he is the main reason thanks

1st time in Amwaj, room was clean and nice seaview room. Staff was very helpful.
