The staff and location couldn’t have been better. It was surprising quiet given how busy the area was around the hotel. And it’ll be even better as they complete their renovations.

Nice room, but more amazing staff!

The staff are always courteous and happy to assist with any requests. The location is ideal, being walking distance to all of Sydney's attractions. Plus the light rail is very close if walking isn't your style.

We were pretty disappointed with this hotel. We called for reception 4 times throughout our stay and no one answered- they got our room service order wrong- the drain in our bathroom was soo dirty and filled with hair…. Not what I’d expect for a $500+ a night room.

This hotel is in a fantastic location and it is a very nice hotel but it should not be billed as a 5 star luxury hotel. It is really a 3.5 star hotel. The biggest complaints are no elevator, they do have a dumb waiter for bags. The windows are single pane (barely). When people walk ups and down the Suez Canal or Nurses walk you can hear every conversation. There is a bar behind the property that gets loud as well. Next is no bottled water but the staff did tell me I could feel free to drink out of the sink in the room or go to the bar and get it from the tap there. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it to friends or family…no, not billed as a luxury hotel.

Good service and friendly staff

Hotel in good location close to shops and public transport. Easy access to airport by train. Room was sparse but clean and comfortable with basic amenities.
